Oktoberfest Football
By: Chris Woodard
Considering I have nothing to lose since my first two weeks have been horrible... here is the old Oktoberfest week picks tradition. In other words, have a few drinks, and pick games based on what quarterback I think could drink more. Ready...... go!

Not Your Typical Sunday
By: Kevin Hunt
Sitting here, watching the first part of the Browns-Colts game, I realized that this scene is something I get to witness very often. Usually my Sundays are spent in the coaches office at Bishop Ready High School as we prepare for the upcoming game week. The norm is to meet from 10 a.m. until finished, but this week we are meeting at 3 p.m. instead. Which means you get to learn my thoughts on this week's games in my first installment on the blog.

2011 NFL ATS Pick 'Em: Now Is The Time
By: Luke Florence
It all happened so fast I’m still not sure exactly how it did happen. Our group was sitting comfortably around 28 or so members when all of a sudden it exploded to 49. Never thought that was possible, but when you have Shane Kline and Matt Barnes as co-chairmen of your Public Relations group, these are the results you get.
It makes me excited because I have no idea how this is going to go down. It could be great, it could be shaky. The new weekly pot could make things really exciting for people who aren’t going to be in the top-six, or it could place an unnecessary emphasis on a rather mundane Monday Night Football score. It’ll be a learning experience for all of us.
With a group this size the only way it’s going to work effectively is for communication to be open and free-flowing. My e-mail address is Florence.luke@gmail.com and my phone number is 608-738-4853. Find me on facebook, or follow me on twitter (@kingofarguments). Any questions or concerns please get at me.
Deadlines will also be key for a great season. You already know what the deadline is for getting picks in but the most important deadline will be November 1st. If Kevin Hunt doesn’t have your $30 by November 1st then you will be watching from the sidelines and will be placed on a one-year probation. I understand that by the middle of October you might be completely out of the race for the season-ending money, but with the weekly prize you can still walk away with $100 for one great week. Don’t be “that guy” who tests the water and then bails because he thinks his ship is sinking. Usually I don’t need to post deadlines and threats of probation, but that’s because I used to know everyone in the league … not the case this year.

2011 NFL ATS Pick 'Em: The Beginning
By: Luke Florence
What can you accomplish in five years? If you are a Cleveland professional sports team the answer is not much. But, if you are in an against the spread pick'em league, the answer is a bit more plentiful.
We started with eight members in 2007 and haven't stopped growing since, adding more members each and every year. As of right now we are sitting with 45 official members for 2011. It's incredible how fast this league has grown.
